Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the platform operated by the International Association of Disaster Management (IADM). By registering or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must: - Be at least 18 years of age or have legal authority from your organization - Provide accurate and complete registration information - Use the platform for lawful purposes only

2. Account Registration and Use

a. User Accounts

You may register as an individual user or as part of an organization. You agree to: - Keep your login credentials confidential - Be responsible for any activity that occurs under your account - Update your information as necessary to keep it accurate

b. Organization Accounts

Organizations may create profiles, post opportunities, manage members, and assign roles through an admin panel. Organization admins are responsible for managing internal member roles and actions.

3. Permitted Activities

The platform may be used to: - Register users and organizations - Create and manage profiles - Apply for internal job roles - Nominate individuals for leadership positions - Vote on nominations and assign roles

You agree not to: - Use the platform for any fraudulent or harmful activity - Impersonate any person or organization - Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content

4. Role Assignment and Voting

Organizations may allow members to: - Nominate themselves or others for positions - Participate in internal voting processes - Be assigned roles based on voting outcomes by admins

IADM does not interfere in or moderate internal organizational voting or assignments unless violations of these Terms or applicable laws occur.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit. By posting content, you grant IADM a limited license to display, store, and use your content solely to operate the platform.

6. Platform Availability

As the platform is in its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or errorfree service. Features may change or be added over time. We reserve the right to modify or suspend any part of the platform at any time.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform without notice if: - You violate these Terms - You misuse the platform or its features - Legal or regulatory requirements necessitate such action

You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

IADM is not liable for: - Decisions or actions taken within or by registered organizations - Losses or damages resulting from the use of the platform - Any indirect or consequential damages arising out of access or use

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Insert Location].
